Actually, she didn't just find it; she ripped into that sucker like it was Christmas morning. Which is exactly what I wanted her to do...in a month. In front of me. With a camera in hand.
I found her in the basement bedroom where (I thought) the presents were safely tucked away. Imagine walking into a room and everywhere you look are little bits of strewn plastic packaging and cardboard. And mixed in amongst the carnage are pieces of doll furniture. Four rooms worth.
And do you know what that little stinker is doing? She's playing in the giant cardboard box (!!) that until moments before contained 5 rooms of furniture, one minivan, and a dancing puppy (for Nathan). Thankfully she didn't really notice the big dollhouse box. That, at least, was still tightly wrapped in the blue plastic it came shipped in. One end was partially opened, but I guess she didn't see the picture when she was lifting it off the giant box that was her goal all along.
At least she asked where the people were.

lol. I'm sorry. I know she makes you crazy sometimes, but your daughter is AWESOME. lolololol
In answer to your title, I'm going to say yes. Or at least hope it's yes, for your sake. That would drive me right bonkers.
Haha! Ahhh that stinks. Our kids have both found their Christmas presents already. Tegan found hers and came and got me and said, "Mommy, come with me! I found something!!" I pulled her away and told her something to do with Santa forgetting that he was too early or something and re-hid it. Graye found his cuz Ryan just forgot and left them all sitting out in the middle of the room when he went to bed. Honestly! He told Graye they were for someone else. Not sure if he fell for that or not...
